Rob & Louise
6am - 10am Monday-Friday
Hi! We’re Rob and Louise, we are a morning radio team, who are married to each other!
That’s right….
We drive to work together
We work together
We drive home together
We do everything together
So we end up living our lives on the air!
It’s exciting to be working at Froggy 99.1
(Although I thought the inside of Froggy would have a formaldehyde smell…it did not.)
Being in radio for over 44 years, we’ve had the opportunity to work in a lot of wonderful places.
Now, we (along with our two cats - Barney and Josie) have moved to the Mid Ohio Valley to continue having fun on the air! We are looking forward to meeting you as we explore our new surroundings. Please feel free to reach out to us and give suggestions of things we should see or visit! We are here to get to know you and have fun on the radio…. And maybe have a pepperoni roll or two!
Ted Hopper
10am - 3pm Monday-Friday
Froggy 99’s Ted Hopper, known to many in the country music industry, is a country radio legend. Ted has been in the biz since… Well, we’ll just say long enough. He’s a member of the Country Radio Hall of Fame and has programmed some of the biggest and most influential country radio stations in America, including 61 Country in Kansas City, WMAQ in Chicago and the home of the Grand Ole Opry, WSM, Nashville. We’re very happy to have Ted living here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and as part of the Froggy family. Ted’s the perfect guy to host Froggy’s Country Gold Saturday Night every Saturday evening from 7-10. Country music fans have been asking for it and we’re going to give it to them! Our listeners have been telling us that they miss that great old country from legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn. So every Saturday night from 7-10 pm, we’ll reach back into the deep, dark, dusty files and play some of country music’s best from the past 50 years!
John D. Green
3pm-7pm Monday-Friday
Well, it all started many… scratch that… not so many years ago in the swamps of the Southwest (Okay, so it was a desert). After showing an aversion to doing real work I started “working” weekends at the local radio station. After making several stops along the way I landed in the Mid-Ohio Valley in the summer of 2002. Join me for the drive home every weekday afternoon here on Froggy 99!"
